So,without further ado, lets dive into the madness that is Petz!įor this breeding I've decided to go with Snork and Evo. Hexed breeds can range from simple, like just a recolor,to complex, like the dragon from Shrek, and they are a blast to breed with, because the results are absolutely nuts at times, and you can get some really neat looking petz this way. Now,I could just be happy to breed some mutts and moggies (mixed breed cats) and see what I get,but why do that when I could breed a dragon to a hamster and have little mutant babies? You see,Petz used to have a small, but dedicated community of players who would mod or "hex" Petz in order to make even cooler Petz, and a lot of these hexed breeds are still available to players if,along with tools like PetzA2,which is an app that allows you to speed up breeding, birth and aging (all of which normally would take several real time days, and the app allows you manipulate some other stuff too,it's a very handy tool to have). Because of that unique DNA each petz has,the results are totally random, and there's a chance for mutations to occur. If you have no idea what Petz 5 is,it's essentially a pet owner simulator, which probably sounds boring if you're over the age of six,(and honestly the whole taking care of petz thing is),but the original Petz has 2 very cool features: 1,thirty different breeds of catz and dogz, that each have their own unique digital DNA,and 2,the ability to breed them (sadly, only catz with catz and dogz with dogz,no interspecies reproducing here). Not those crappy Ubisoft Petz titles,no,we will using the classic P.F Magic Petz, the last in that beautiful series, number 5,that came out in 2002. Hello! This is a forum that I am dedicating to.
